This is the website of Pauline Uyterwijk, a Dutch freelance translator based in Kent, United Kingdom. I translate legal, financial and other texts from English and Spanish into Dutch, my mother tongue. With more than 10 years’ experience in translating, I am used to providing well-researched quality service. As a qualified linguist and lawyer with several years’ work experience in both the legal sector and the financial services industry, these are my specialist subject fields, but my portfolio also includes a variety of other translations, from NGO-reports for the general public to user instructions for consumer products. I also edit and review translations. My professional experience is supported by degrees in Spanish and Law and the IoL Diploma in Translation English-Dutch. I am a qualified member of ITI (Institute of Translating and Interpreting) and NGTV (Dutch Association of Translators and Interpreters).
